Founded in 1960 by Milton B. McGee, our firm has served
Montgomery and surrounding counties for over forty years. Growing and
changing with the economy of the area, the firm has been in its present
location since 1973. On July 1, 1996, longtime tax manager Virginia Miller
joined McGee as a partner. The firm has continued to grow, based on our
reputation for top quality service delivered in a timely manner. Our
name changed effective January 1, 2005, reflecting Virginia's marriage and
name change.
McGee, Miller & Co., LLP is a member of both the Tax
Section and the PCPS/Alliance for CPA firms within the American Institute
of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). As a member of PCPS, the Private
Companies Practice Section, our quality controls are reviewed every three
years for compliance with the highest professional standards. Our most
recent Peer Review, in October of 2010, confirmed that our quality control
standards conform with those established by the
AICPA, to assure the public of the highest quality work, and that we are in
compliance with these standards. All firm professionals are also members of
the AICPA, as well as the Texas Society of CPAs and the Houston Chapter of
the TSCPA.
